crap question

it was a different situation in yesterdays time..where ppl were used to belive on all these things..the reason why i called this question crap is that..as we all knw its not optional..its a must for every adult muslim to remove the pubic and the underarm hairs...so there is no need for this question...

in islam ppl r supposed to remove the necessary hairs from body..no question whtsoever...it should be done whether u like it or not

women hair

yes billi maiu ne bilqul theek kaha hy.every muslim is supposed to remove her or his unerarm and pubic hair,as it is directed by islam.if someone will not do it he/she will be considered napak.

so if women remove their body hair except pubic or underarm or she is doing this to attract men so it is sin in my view.may be im wrong.do suggest if someone knows better

Except means excluding or not including. mild is right, if we see around the world like US,UK,Singapore etc where girls wear skirts or shorts like that all girls remove her legs hair, hands hair. Can any one tell me why these girls remove these hair?

According to our religion ISLAM any act use for attraction of other men is sin.

What do u think billi?

Short answer it is allowed for long answer read on.

These two hadith and one quranic verse are quoted for prohibition of eyebrow plucking and then they are applied to everything.

And it was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5892; Muslim, 259)

‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Allaah has cursed the woman who does tattoos and the one who has them done, the woman who plucks eyebrows (al-naamisah) and the one who has it done (al-mutanammisah), and the one who files her teeth for the purpose of beauty, altering the creation of Allaah.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5931; Muslim, 2125

Quranic verse about the altering the creation of Allah is being used in wrong context here. If plucking the eyebrow is altering the creation of Allah.
Then removing the pubic hair is also altering the creation of allah and shaving the mustache is also altering the creation of Allah.

So this logic makes these two ahadees from Bukhari weak. I will post the Quranic verse later.
Now don't get me wrong. I am not a munkir a hadees. Hadees is a strong pillar of our riligion.
Bukhari is supposed to be most authentic hadees book. But it has so many hadees which contradict each other and quran and sunnah. These two hadees are example of that. I do not invalidate all of Bukhari's hadees. If I do that then I will not be able to Pray namaz because I will not know how to make wuzu and how to pray namaz although namaz is a farz according to Quran.
That being said then why I am refuting sahih hadees from Bukahri ?
Because my study of Islam tells me it is very pure very gentle and very liberal religion. But based on hadees it has been turned into a very strict , narrow minded and very aggresive religion. These two hadees are an example of it.
Because the very noble people who were collecting noble hadees of our holy prophet(sal lal lah hu ala hay wasalam ) had only one criteria for examining the hadith namely source , the declared a hadees sahi if it had complete chain of narration. The did not examine the content of the hadees.
Everybody knows that there were munafaqeen in every period of Islam what if the manafaqeen created hadees with complete chain of narration with fake content ? There are scholars in these days who are examining hadees in this light also.

Yusuf Ali:

[004:119]  "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by God." Whoever, forsaking God, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

Transliteration:

[004:119]  Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahum walaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAami walaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahi waman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan min dooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenan

Please do correct me if I am wrong.

Specific excludes General

Seriously Bahi yah tou LAW ka kisi subject ya website ma app ne read kiya hoga kah Specific Provisions excludes Geneal Provisions (Kyun Lawyer Bili-Miau sahi kaha na?) ... So agar yah eak general baat hai kah ALLAH ki creation ko change nahi karna chahiyah , lekin agar koi specification daey dey gaey hai kah Moustache trim karoo ya Circumcision ya Cutting Pubic-Hairs tou yah phir gerenal provision ko excelude karey ga ....or phir iss case ma yah wala provision applicable hoga.

Its only my understanding about it ... Lets see what other people say ???

According to my thinking

You have the right to your thinking at I have to mine.

In case of Quran, Sunnah, and Hadees. Specific provisions from Hadees cannot exclude the general provision of Quran. Quran in Islam is ultimate , hadith comes next and then comes the Ijtehad.

Can a specific law from any province of Pakistan go against Federal Laws ? No , right ?. So if Quran says do not make changes in creation of Allah then it is ultimate hadees cannot change it untill Allah gives some other order against it in his book and changes this general to specific.

Look  at it from another angle. This verse is specific to animals not humans. So it cannot be applied to humans anyway. Application of verse to humans which is specific to animals makes this hadees weak.

Walllah Alim Bis sawab.

One disclaimer again. I am not doubting the authenticity of Sahih Bukhari , It is authentic to the extent that Imam Bukhari(RA) compiled it. He did very hard work in compling it. But I wish he had examined the hadees for its content too instead of examining it for chain of narration. And if he examined the Hadees content too then he was not prophet and made some mistakes. These mistakes do not invalidate the whole compilation but parts of it.

Re: Seriously

I was not talking about Quran , no doubt we have to follow the Quran blindly without any lame-exuse , but even if specific thing is given in Quran also , it will exclude the general.

  • (Narrated by al-Bukhaari , 5892 ; Muslim, 259)
  • (Narrated by al-Bukhaari , 5931 ; Muslim, 2125)
If one hadees is of nature nature and another one is of sepcific nature , then Specific shall exclude general.... right ?

Waiting for comments of other members.....

Meray Bhai BeautyStar

Allah tumhain aur roshni day. Ameen. ( It is not a taunt it is a heartfelt dua)

I have already quoted these two hadees from Bukhari and gave my reasons and logic why I think they are weak. Their chain of narration is complete no doubt. But the content of one(5892 from Bukhari) of them is based on a wrong logic it is based on a verse of Quran which is specific to animals not human. The background ( Shan a nazool) of this verse and the context does not permit me to apply it to humans.

For second hadees (5931 ) chain of narration is complete but it also becomes weak because if you apply this verse of Quran to this hadees you are making changes to the creation of Allah by shaving your mustache. So how can my rasool (sal lal lah ho alai hay wassalam ) will apply one verse for saying that do not pluck your eyebrow because you are making changes to Allah's creation.

Then my nabi (sal lal lah ho alai hay wassalam ) is forgetting the same logic when he tells the believers to shave their moustache . My prophet (sal lal lah ho alai hay wassalam ) was much more perfect than that. He will never apply one logic at some place and then forget the same logic at the another place. He was a nabi , he was the rasool he was perfect.

Women Body Hair:What Does Islam Says?

The Shari'ah (Islamic Law) does not regulate how one removes body hair. the Qur'an does not address shaving; rather, it guides humanity towards morals and the path to God. the Sunnah is the religious practice from where we get our obligation to remove hair. Nothing in the Shari'ah mentions removing hair from the arms and legs; this is a personal matter. Thus, women are free to remove this hair as they please. There are no religious elements in this matter. I hope i have clarified the issue. God knows best.
